About the improvers course:

The fastest way to improve your surfing is a course at the Quiksilver Surf School in Fuerteventura. You will receive instruction from of a team of experienced & qualified multi-lingual surf coaches. Our coaches aim to provide you with a fun & safe learning experience, where you can progress your surfing and leave satisfied with a noticeable improvement of your surfing. You can surf with us at any time of the year – and during the european winter usually provides the best conditions in Fuerteventura for improving surfers. The water is warm, the waves are pumping and the sun is out, - what are you waiting for?

Learning objective: To catch and ride unbroken(green) waves.The Quiksilver Surf School improvers course is for students who have completed the basics of standing on a surfboard, and are ready to paddle out past the broken waves to catch unbroken(green) waves.

Learning outcomes: Paddle out past small breaking waves. Paddling speed & strength techniques. Wave duck diving techniques: eskimo/turtle roll. Board control and balance. Catching and riding unbroken waves. Turning the surfboard. Understanding wave power zones.

Level required: "The beginners course" or equivalent surfing experience.
