Perfect waves, empty line-ups, summer-like temperatures: Winter in Fuerteventura rocks!

In fact with 300+ days of sunshine per year, an average minimum water temperature of 18 degrees in middle of winter, wearing shorts and a t-shirt is all you really need, the term "winter" doesn''t really apply to Fuerteventura.

Did we mention the waves?

The surf spots in the north of Fuerteventura are some of the best and most consistent in Europe and part of the reason why the Canary Islands are known as the Hawaii of Europe! There are more than 50 different surf spots with firing waves in an area of only 25 km around Corralejo so that no level of experience misses out! With shores facing north, west and east, it is always offshore somewhere. In case the swell is too big, you can always find a sheltered spot with clean waves.

In winter we get a lot more swell and less wind than summer, giving us even more choice of the worldclass intermediate/advanced surf breaks in Fuerteventura, making winter the ideal season for improvers/advanced students. With over 15 years of experience finding waves on the island and with a fleet of 4x4 off road vehicles we can be at the right spot at the right time.

For surfers, winter is peak season for waves, and low season for price!
